It is one of my favorite memories as an instructor! The pride on a student's face after they've demonstrated something at which they've worked so hard is the ultimate reward of teaching. I was always the percussion leader and truly loved helping out my fellow students. I started formally teaching at the age of 18, when I took on my first middle school student.
