I started studying the saxophone at 9 years old and spent most of my early school years performing in community, school, and local college jazz bands around the Seattle-Tacoma area of Washington State. I have taught for 15 years in the after school music program system in addition to maintaining a private clarinet studio with students of different ages and skill levels.
