I began my musical career playing clarinet and saxophone for the Marine Forces Pacific Band in Honolulu, Hawaii. While serving, I was the concertmaster, clarinet section leader, and leader of the woodwind quintet for a combination of 300+ performances around the world. As a freelance performer, I have presented solo recitals throughout Illinois and can frequently be found woodwind doubling in musical theater pits around Chicago. As a teacher, I have experience with students of all ages and abilities both in my own studio and as a faculty member of The People’s Music School.
