I believe many students look at a piece of music that seems too difficult and become too overwhelmed to realize that's it's not as difficult as it may first appear. I use incentives to encourage the students to continue to progress, while getting a sense of accomplishment. I am encouraging, gentle, demonstrate techniques, and help where students struggle.
