I always explore different methods that might fit the age and personality of the student but for keyboard lessons I have found success with the Alfred Piano Method. Instrumental lessons usually follow the method book that is selected by their school band director. I have served on the board of two different local community bands. I continue to play in a community band and also volunteer my time to play on local shows for the communty theaters. Teaching music is all about the student and sharing the passion and skills that only music can provide with the student.
