I am a committed educator, passionate about sharing the cello with anyone and everyone who wants to learn! I received my Bachelors of Music in Cello Performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York in 2015. After graduating, I moved to Chicago Illinois, where I have enjoyed an active teaching, performing, recording and touring schedule. In addition to my classical pursuits, I am an avid fan of cross-genre collaborations and have performed, recorded and toured with a variety of Chicago-area bands, some of which include: Rebecca Rego and the Trainmen, Poor Calvin, Fuzzy Poser, Audrey Q, Brian McGrath and The Phantom Broadcast. I like to establish a friendly and fun atmosphere where the student feels at ease, but always help my students set goals, and hold them to standards of excellence. I also recognize and value that importance of a student enjoying lessons, and that may sometimes mean that s/he wishes to learn and play music not covered by the books and materials we use for lessons; thus, I encourage students to share with me any such music they want to work on, and we then incorporate it into our lessons.
