I am a senior at Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music. I have experience in cello performance, piano performance, orchestral music, and chamber music. I have studied with various prestigious music instructors and attended various music festivals, including the Interharmony Music Festival, Meadowmount School of Music, and the Aspen School of Music. I very much believe in a dialogue between student and teacher - the relationship is very much a two-way street, as we can both learn from one another in many ways. I dont have a dogmatic, one size fits all approach; rather, I adjust to each individual student and his or her own needs. I have over 13 years of private teaching experience with cellists of all ages and experience levels. As a soloist, ensemble member, and participant in international festivals and competitions, I have performed throughout the US, China, Canada, Switzerland, and Russia. I have performed as a soloist with various orchestras throughout Connecticut including the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and was a member of Carnegie Hall's National Youth Orchestra of the USA. Though my education is in classical music, I am also an experienced performer and arranger of pop, rock, and other contemporary music, and aim to allow students to use the cello to find their own artistic voices in whatever genres they enjoy most. Paganini's 4th Violin Concerto with cadenza which Oleg Rutkovsky composed especially for this event. After competition he was invited to participate in music festival in Rimini, Italy where he shared the stage with such famous musicians as Boris Berezovsky (1st Prize 1990 P.I.Tchaikovsky Piano Competition), Enrico Pace and Evgeny Bushkov (both winners of many international competitions). After one year with State Symphony Capella of Russia where conductor was legendary Gennady Rozhdestvensky and where Oleg performed in section 1st Violins in 1992 he accepted position of Assistant concertmaster of famous Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra and traveled around the globe performing in almost every important music hall including Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York, Royal Albert and Barbican Hall in London, Beethoven Hall in Bonn (Germany), Gewandhaus, Symphony Hall and Suntory Hall in Tokyo and Osaka (Japan), Musikverein Golden Hall  in Vienna and many more.
