Students don't learn if they don't feel motivated or enjoy what they are doing. Therefore, I make it a point to set an agenda in each lesson that starts and ends with something fun, and is also predictable so that students know intuitively how to go about their practicing. During each lesson, the student and I set realistic goals for practicing and, despite the popular saying that the more time you spend practicing, the more effective your practice is, I have learned from many students that each student practices and learns from practicing in their own way. Therefore, I have learned to adapt to the student and tailor my instruction so that they are comfortable in the learning process. I am a highly motivated, hard-working, and outgoing individual. My teaching experience began around 2012 when I taught some of my teacher's students while she was out of town for the summer. Throughout college and graduate school, I maintained a small studio of a handful of students. After graduating in 2016, I began to grow my private studio as well as working with music schools throughout Denver, including Denver Public Schools, and Douglas County Schools.
