I am a former Suzuki student--I began at age 3.5 with my mom as my teacher--so I believe that Suzuki is an incredible method for teaching young string players. The aural memory I attained by learning this way still continues to benefit me in my career each and every day! Worked with students who prepared for Regional Orchestra, All Sate Orchestra, pre college for Juilliard , Mannes and Mahattan School of Music. Also teach for adults. I started teaching regularly in college. For 7 years, I have always had some semblance of students whether they be private or part of an afterschool program. I like working closely with each students, getting each of them to branch out and challenge themselves.
