I have had the opportunity to work directly with numerous composers including Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Moravec, Nick Virzi, Felipe Salles, Nick DiBernadino, Shelley Washington, Gemma Peacocke, Rob Deemer, Saad Hadad, William David Cooper, Matthew Recio, and Masatora Goya. My two rules of teaching are to be encouraging and be engaging. I don't want students dragging their feet as they walk to their lesson. I want them sprinting up the stairs and ringing my bell several times, because they are so excited to get started!
