I begin most students with a bass of Suzuki pedagogy to lay solid foundations for instrumental approach, note reading, and tone development. Ballet Piano Accompanist at New York City Ballet. I rehearse and prepare ballet and dance music for dancers of all levels; beginning, intermediate and advanced. My dancers range from young children, to adult and senior beginners. I am a former Suzuki student--I began at age 3.5 with my mom as my teacher--so I believe that Suzuki is an incredible method for teaching young string players. The aural memory I attained by learning this way still continues to benefit me in my career each and every day!
