I began teaching about 4 years ago, I worked for TakeLessons in which I did both Online lessons and face-to-face. I pride myself in making my students succeed, I’ve had students start taking lessons with me starting in the lowest orchestra and after some months they are in the top orchestra and in a couple of occasions they were also first chair. I was brought up classically trained on the Suzuki books but I am completely flexible. If you have or have heard of a set of books you like we can use that too. If you don't know how to read music we can focus part of the lesson on music theory and the rest on learning from recordings and playing by ear. Each genre has their own set of rules and depending on how strict those rules are I will be equally strict accordingly. Read More

I started playing violin at the age of 4, and started teaching at 17. In 2003, I started playing viola, and in 2005, I started learning cello. In 2010, I graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Music degree with electives in Psychology. I have played as the Associate Principle Second Violin in the Orange County Symphony since 2011. I love teaching because I love to help people, and I love to share my joy of stringed instruments. I am a patient and encouraging instructor who enjoys sharing music with people and working with students to teach music. I started my piano lesson at age of seven and cello at age of nine. I got my bachelor's degree from National Taiwan Normal University where the country I am originally from and my master's degree from Northern Illinois University. I have performed all over the U.S. in my collegiate touring orchestra and even had the opportunity to go to Europe and perform there as well.
