Building a repertoire is encouraged, and I use the material to assist in instructing in theory and musical communication. Around this time I also started teaching private cello lessons to students who wanted to move at a faster pace than group lessons. Since then I have taught many students of all ages and and levels. For those that aren't necessarily interested in going down that road, that's ok! In the end it's about what is fulfilling to you.
