I was a teacher from some programs with the State of Guatemala in the country side and the capital city, and a member of the string quartet "Ad-libitum". My teaching experience began around 2012 when I taught some of my teacher's students while she was out of town for the summer. Throughout college and graduate school, I maintained a small studio of a handful of students. After graduating in 2016, I began to grow my private studio as well as working with music schools throughout Denver, including Denver Public Schools, and Douglas County Schools. Students don't learn if they don't feel motivated or enjoy what they are doing. Therefore, I make it a point to set an agenda in each lesson that starts and ends with something fun, and is also predictable so that students know intuitively how to go about their practicing. During each lesson, the student and I set realistic goals for practicing and, despite the popular saying that the more time you spend practicing, the more effective your practice is, I have learned from many students that each student practices and learns from practicing in their own way. I have taught several students while I was studying music. I won the third place of the Taipei City Competition of Music among many outstanding competitors in 2015. On the other hand, I strived for the chance of participating in many performances. In 2014, I performed Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85 with the local orchestra in Hualien. In 2017, I played Prokofiev’s Sinfonia-Concertante, Op.125 at my recital at Soochow University, which was praised by my teachers and the audiences. Read More

In High School, my music practice skills carried over to my academic studies and I was able to graduate with Honors, a 4.00, and earn 14 scholarships to attend college to become a musicteacher. Since then, I have had the privilege ofteaching1000's of students, and mentoring several college students.
