I am a guitarist/bassist originally from the South Shore of Massachusetts. In 2011, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music. As a musician I have toured all through the east coast and have traveled west all the way to Montana. My goal, whether a student purse a career in music or not, is to aid development becoming not simply an instrumentalist, but a musician. Most humans are taught to recognize colors, why not sounds? I encourage improvisation, composition and study of the masters, but my priority is that it all be fun: I wouldn't hold myself to drudgery and certainly wouldn't expect that of a student. Through my time working with students I have found that it is very important to get to know them on a more personal level, i.e. music they like, their interests, their hobbies etc, and that way I can tailor my lesson plans to them as individuals and make them feel as comfotable as possible.
