I started teaching privately in 2010, beginning with in home lessons. Since then I have taught in a private studio, working with students of all ages, levels, and musical sounds. I have even taught classes at the college level, focusing on music theory and history of rock and roll. This combination, as well as countless other groups and performances, taught me a wide variety of learning, and playing styles that would inform the way I would teach my students. Read More

I have a relaxed teaching style that encourages musical and creative growth. I strive to constantly expand my students' musical horizons. As well as giving them new techniques to practice and new songs to learn, I will often give them new music to listen to. It is my belief that, above all, learning music should be a joyful experience; one which allows students to gain access to new ideas and gain insight into different traditions and cultures. Read More
