The most rewarding thing as a teacher is passing on my love of music to my students. Music is one of the most important things in my life and has opened me up to the world. Because of music I have met people from all walks of life and that has helped me to become a more loving and compassionate person. Lessons should be a safe, fun and encouraging space for students to grow not only as musicians but as people. Read More

I am a laid back teacher, but I make sure all students behave and learn. I love when the students enjoy what they are doing, and when I enjoy what I am doing. It's a relationship that you build. I expect the students to practice their craft. I continue to learn as I teach as well. Inspiration is very important. The inspired students are special for they know what they want to accomplish. My method varies depending on the student. If the student wants a traditional musical approach, and is interested in learning notation and theory, then we will usually start with the Hal Leonard Book Series. If the student doesn’t want to learn notes or the more advanced musical concepts, I usually just start by teaching them simple songs that they know from the radio, TV Shows or movies. Something to get them really excited about learning and practicing, and songs that they recognize and can show others. Read More

I will do whatever it takes to teach the student whatever they are willing to learn. If they want to learn a specific genre on an instrument that has never been used for that genre, I will be happy to teach them. For example, I can play trap music on a piano, but I could also play death metal on a piano as well. Trap music doesn't have to be restricted to a computer, and death metal doesn't have to be restricted to just guitar, bass, and drums. Read More

I started learning to play guitar when I was about 6 years old. Had a few uncles who taught me how to strum a few chords here and there, and then went through about 4 actual guitar teachers before I found the one that really helped me the most. He helped me enjoy what I was learning. That was the game changer in my playing! Over time, I played in high school bands, church bands, and even occasional solo gigs and now I gig regularly with other like minded professional musicians. Read More

Ever since I was young, I was also very interested and focused in teaching. After doing so for many years I am now one of the most respected musical educators in Buenos Aires. At the age of 17, while studying my bachelor, I began teaching guitar and electric bass in my own studio at home. I also started teaching some short courses about musical theory and harmony, destined for all kinds of instrumentalists. Read More

I always start with the absolute foundation and fundamentals of music. I find when I start teaching students that have taken lessons previously, there are many holes in their understanding of their respective instrument and understanding of music in general. Consistency and steady progression is vital. What method books I recommend vary depending on the instrument and will be discussed prior to the first lesson. I encourage all students to come prepared with pencils, folder, staff paper and approved method book. Read More
