This gets the student familiar with the feel of the instrument and helps to reinforce how the left and right hands work together when performing. The lesson is really up to the student. i can show them the fundememntals if asked but i much prefer to guage what the student already knows and teach them whatever area theyre interested in. my lessons are never overbearing or rushed and the student is given as much time as they need per lesson to grasp and utilise a concept. my job really isto tailor mylessons for the students enjoyment and progress;and i love seeing the progress!! I was self diagnosed with "music fever" as a very young child. I began playing shows and concerts with my family as young as 13 and, even then, I loved to teach, and share music with my friends and colleagues. Naturally I pursued a degree in Music at the University of Maine where I became principle bassist of the University Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble.
