I am careful to choose the appropriate music for each age. if there is a child, for me is very important the relationship with the parents, because they know a lot of goals from the child. For beginning students who do not read music, I focus on singing small melodies while learning to read the music and listen to the tune. This is crucial for ear training. As student's get older and or have been in the studio a longer period of time, they will get to help choose the music they sing, such as the style, language and genre of the pieces. I do bi-annual recitals, so the student's typical work on 5 pieces twice a year depending on age/skill. Read More
