Nothing is more important than the student enjoying themselves. I want to encourage my students' passion for music by allowing them to learn at their own pace. I believe in encouragement and positive reinforcement, I will never discourage a student to study music. Music is for everyone and should never be considered out of reach for anyone. As natural as a singing voice can be it still takes effort and hard work to maintain your sound or keep yourself relevant. I self taught myself a lot. Through this self teaching I was able to help others go through the same process a little easier. I spent hours if not shut ins (days of just soaking and singing) editing and correcting my tone. Developing and finding your voice (confidence in yourself), knowing your sound/ style, and finally finding your rhythm to where even if there is no beat you can become one and be the beat is the basics before any singer can bloom. I am a multifaceted musician, music producer, composer and instrumentalist with diverse musical experience spanning many genres and styles. I graduated from Bard College in 2016 with a degree in music composition. While at Bard, I was involved with the opera workshop and the audio engineering crew.
