My way of working the voice in particular is a combination of yoga breathing techniques, the Alexander singing method and the Stanilavsky method of acting. This to achieve a better awareness of the vibration and awareness of the vocal instrument. Also, a lot of kids are busy at school and don't have much time for practice. When I teach, I dont force a certain technique or method on students, but rather I teach what is best suited for them. On top of that, I always motivate my students with adequate goals. I was always able to sing. I started piano in the 5th grade. I played trumpet in high school and made all state band 3 years in a row. I attended college at Houston Baptist University where I received a full scholarship to study music. Once I graduated I was immediately hired to do a national tour which was followed by 5 others.
