My goal is to pass my deep love for music on to everyone that I teach. I will work hard for my students, and in return hopefully they will work hard for me. My teaching style has been described by students as such: "Natural, with a focus on healthy singing," "concentrating on developing techniques specific to each genre of music," and "always fun but still really helpful!" I emphasize becoming self-sufficient as a musician so that my students can become great musicians outside of the lesson environment. We work together during each lesson to safely develop the voice and learn techniques appropriate to each style of music. Read More

My teaching style is rooted in my love of music and people. It is a joy to get to know students as we meet regularly for lessons, and an even bigger joy to help them reach their own musical goals! During that time I was given the opportunities to sing with some wonderful groups including Kentucky Opera Chorus, Cardinal Singers, Early Music Ensemble, and Choral Arts Society. Since moving to Colorado in 2016, I have sang with multiple quartets and ensembles, including St Martin's Chamber Choir, Gaudium Verum, Anima Chamber Ensemble as well as continuing to teach music in an individual and/or choral setting. Since I've returned, many of those students have continued with me as their teacher via Zoom/Facetime. The pandemic challenged my regular in-home lesson routine, so all of my instruction takes place over FaceTime/Zoom now. Read More
