Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students get really excited about reaching their goals. I consistently encourage students by giving them positive feedback about the progress they are making. I also help them push themselves to become better singers by being an inspiration and a mentor for them throughout their journey. I do feel that music is a journey, not a destination. While at the University of Denver, I greatly enjoyed teaching non-major voice lessons through the University. Teaching for two years at the university level gave me a chance to develop a curriculum and method which is adaptable to students of all experience levels.
