With each new student, I assess their abilities and goals. From this information, I will make a decision reagrding which method I will use to teach the students their instrument. As lessons progress, the curriculum becomes more challenging. Depending on each students abilities and goals, I will most likely one of the following methods: Faber, Alfred, John Thompson, or Suzuki. When I think about a student learning wintry to put myself in there shoes. They want to feel like they have something to show for the time that they were the class session. . if we have an hour session and at the end of the session they can go out and show off what they learned then they will.
