My name is Erick Velazquez. I have been playing cello for 10 years and I still love it. I did not start taking lessons until later in my career but once I did I improved dramatically which I why I believe that taking lessons privately is a critical part of learning any instrument. I love teaching students how to play the cello because playing an instrument helps develop the mind in ways that reading books and answering questions can't.
I love all kinds of music and am excited to share my knowledge. As a public school music teacher and have led singing groups and strings ensembles. I enjoy working with students of all ages. I have travelled around the world singing in a variety of groups including classical, opera, gospel, pop and many other styles. I have utilized my skills, training and certification to satisfy fine arts requirements for home school graduation. I would love to help you prepare for auditions for a middle or high school of the arts, a college musicstudy program or to be the next American Idol as well as just have fun learning to be the best musician you can be!

Learning to sing is massively beneficial for students of a young age. Through lessons and practice, students can learn safe vocal techniques, how to look after their voices, develop their ability to hear and recreate pitch, and work on their musical theory. They can also prepare for exams, rehearsals, and competitions. Learning how to sing is also good for their overall development, as they will improve their concentration skills, raise their self-esteem and confidence, and develop a positive, hard-working attitude as well as a habit of self-discipline through regular practice and lessons.
During their lessons, students will learn how to sing with good, safe, and effective vocal technique. Learning to sing with good technique is the cornerstone to improving the tone, range, and health of the voice during singing. Students will learn how to warm up properly, how to increase their vocal range, how to improve and strengthen their tone, performance techniques, how to accurately replicate pitch, how to support their singing with good breathing techniques, song interpretation and how to apply these techniques to singing their favorite songs. Vocal technique is not genre specific and the techniques taught can be applied to almost any genre of music. Students will develop these skills by vocalizing to piano scales. These vocal exercises are things such as singing different vowel sounds on different scales, sirens, lip rolls and trills, articulation exercises, and respiratory exercises. The exercises are tailored to the specific needs and ability levels of each individual student.
For vocalists of all abilities, it is important to keep the voice healthy. Before singing, whether it be a live performance, a lesson, or practice, vocalists should be sure to do a good warm up, which can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the singer or type of singing about to be performed. All singers should make sure they consume plenty of water throughout the day in order to keep the voice hydrated. A dry throat, along with things such as allergies, coughing, alcohol, and tobacco, can irritate the vocal folds and hinder performance levels.
Mastering the art of singing can be a long and strenuous process, but taking lessons in your home offers a very convenient way to learn! In-home lessons require a piano or keyboard so your teacher can lead you to success. Adult voice lessons will be tailored to your own individual needs and musical preferences.
If you want to sing like a professional, you need adult voice lessons. They can improve your vocal range, perfect your tone and protect your voice. You also learn techniques you can practice every day at home. Instructors in Musika's network are skilled in teaching every musical genre. With their help, you can master R&B, Classical, Country, and other genres and styles. In your home or in a teacher's private studio, learn how to be a better singer as you prepare for national reality singing competitions, local performances, or personal entertainment. Then enjoy singing like a professional thanks to adult voice lessons.

Darrell is A-Maz-Ing! He demands results from his students and therefore results come quickly. The time he spends teaching is intense and packed with great instruction. He is a tough teacher but offers lots of valuable instruction that is applicable for music as well as life in general. I highly recommend Darrell if you are ready for results!

“I took drum lessons from Mark for about 7 months. I have been playing for 38 years but always thrive to learn more. He was able to provide me alternative exercises and help me gain a better understanding of my opportunities. I have been able to take my playing to another level. His approach to teaching is perfect for any level of student, beginner or advanced. He is a true professional and an outstanding person. You won't go wrong with Mark!” Blaine Vaz

Travis is an extremely knowledgeable guitarist and teacher. Travis is equally comfortable in playing/teaching jazz, rock, blues, or classical styles. I really like the way he explains things and he has the ability to make difficult material seem simpler. Travis is very likeable, enthusiastic, and always very professional. I think Travis would be great teaching either children or adults because he's very patient. My learning experience with Travis has been outstanding. He taught me some great techniques for chord substitution and for soloing. I'll continue to work with Travis because he inspires me to be a better guitarist. I think he could really help me with composing because he writes some great songs too! Thanks Travis!

Giorgi has made learning cello even more fun. From the sympathetic, "It is hard" to the precise, "Be careful about the curve of the thumb" he has strengthened learning in every lesson, without being overwhelming. He started playing a little duet on only the 3rd lesson or so, which made me feel, even as a beginner, that I'm already starting to make (occasionally screachy) music. He has suggested a variety of drills and practice techniques which have also sped up the process a lot. And he has a good sense of humor and surprising amount of patience.

Our daughter has only been playing the piano since March. Tony replaced our other teacher who had a job transfer and could no longer teach. Tony is fun and encouraging. My daughter is playing Taylor Swift and Christmas songs and is playing the piano more than ever before. Very happy so far with Mr Tony

My two daughters wanted to study piano fore some time now and just recently I found Musikalessons website and teacher Milica. I can only say that my daughters are very happy with their piano lessons and simply adore Milica. They already made a great progress and we're all happy with what they learned in this short period. Thank you Musikalessons and Milica.

We've only had a few lessons with Elisa, but so far we really like her. She has a lot of great suggestions for solo pieces as well as orchestral music that involves all 3 of my boys, while also including some Christian music that we can play at church. She is very patient in explaining the lessons and encouraging!

My son is truly enjoying his lessons with Chris. He looks forward to them and is motivated to practice. Chris is conscientious and shows up on time and whenever he is supposed to. He communicates clearly if rescheduling is ever required and is accommodating when we need to change the day. I would recommend Chris to anyone.

Gina is very supportive and encouraging. Even though I get frustrated with my progress, she can tell that I've been practicing and reminds me of how far I've come. She challenges me to learn new skills without giving me a piece that I cannot master (with practice). I'm happy that she is my music teacher and look forward to many more lessons in the future.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
