I began teaching in 2001. I teach voice, piano, and didgeridoo. I have performed at multiple locations locally including the Broward Performing Arts Center and the Lincoln theater. I have taught college Theory classes and Music Appreciation classes and have my MA in music history and literature. I am originally from upstate New York and earned both my BM and MME at SUNY Fredonia. I have been teaching private and small group lessons for over twenty years. At Northwestern, it was my responsibility, on top of earning my degree, to teach lessons to non-music major students. These student came from all backgrounds and experience levels, and their fields of study included math, computer science, drama, and more. My teaching started in the final years of high-school. I started teaching trumpet to kids. Once I started college in Buenos Aires(Argentina) in a music composition degree I worked with several masters in a multitude of instruments(violin, flute, trumpet, guitar) which i was able to start teaching and performing live. At the same time I developed a craving for movement practice and martial arts.
