One year after graduating from KD Conservatory, I moved to the Philippines and started my own original band called Alchemy Band. We performed several times a week at local venues. Most of the band members were full-time college students and due to the overwhelming workload, some of the members could no longer keep up with performance demand. I was simultaneously performing with a well-known girl-group called SILK Party Band and eventually became a full-time member performing "Top 40" hits from the 70's to current, 6-7 times a week all over the Philippines. I also want my students to have fun by singing music that enspires them to be sincere with their emotions, singing for an audience can be scary but in a private lesson I encourage trying things out even if they seem silly.
