I'm new to teaching guitar and voice, however, I'm not new to teaching as I have struggled to learn certain subjects in school such as mathematics, and I am aware of the hardships that can be associated with what I call the learning curve. Almost everything in life has the learning curve so when I teach I do it in such a way that is easily understandable; because I remember being in the same position as the person I am currently teaching, and I think I wish this person taught me how to do this in this way, in a more simplistic way. This is one of the key points I like to emphasize for beginners especially, as it tends to help the student progress, gain a passion for the instrument, and build discipline. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy music, motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More
