One of my key points is a consistent schedule for students to practice so they can progress and gain the love for singing like I did. I love all genres of music and I motivate and encourage my students to explore music in that way. I love to have fun with teaching and competition so I encourage students who are interested in a performing career to perform live in talents shows , community events, family parties and gatherings so that they are able to have the experience amongst there peers and family. My student, no matter what age, starts with light vocalizing, lip trills, humming etc. for young students I usually pick a light song and work on basics using the song as an exercise. My older students have to work a little more, exercising scales, monitoring placement, support, palette work. A song is picked by me and the student together. Read More

I design my lessons differently for every student. I understand that every human being is different and it is my duty as an educator to adjust my methods to the student's needs. However, I can say that my methods focus on learning music through performance. I teach students how to read rhythms, melodies, how to understand theory, how to write music, all with his/her instrument in hand.
