I think the violin is very special. It’s such a difficult instrument that requires lots of commitment and dedication. I would have never reached my level now if it weren’t for the teachers who were firm and persistent with me. I have privately taught students from ages five to 56. Since I recently came out of college, I have about one year of experience teaching students part time. I also have experience teaching groups of elementary school students the violin. I encourage students to practice a certain number of hours every day according to his or her playing level. My students are encouraged to enter recitals and competitions so they can feel more accomplished and motivated to learn. Read More

I am a passionate and excited violin instructor with extensive experience teaching children of all ages and skill levels. I have been studying and performing the violin for over 20 years. In 2015, I earned a degree in violin performance from UC San Diego where I performed in the La Jolla Symphony and part of the UC San Diego Chamber Ensembles. Currently, I am a medical student at Georgetown University and play freelance violin throughout the Washington D.C. area and enjoy teaching my violin students. Read More

I focused on piano but eventually went on to accompany choirs and violin. After graduating from Silla University, I continued teaching both violin and piano lessons in the United States. I enjoys teaching children and encourages lots of parental involvement. I use performance as a tool for motivation by having students put on in-home and group recitals often.
