I am a signed artist with Boosted Entertainment, and I am a Producer for the group Musicality, semi-finalists on AGT season 11. Not only do I assist in creating and directing music videos and original music for the group, but I also get to perform at incredible events and venues with them: UNICEF Won't Stop (with Jordin Sparks), Lollapalooza, KultureBall 2019 with Marc Martel, the Rosemont Theatre, TEDx with Ari Afsar and Miguel Cervantes (Chi-Hamilton Stars), and McDonalds WWC (opening for Imagine Dragons, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, and Bruno Mars). I was known as the "Music Mentor" and would help those graffiti writing kids who wanted to funnel their creativity into a positive musical outlet. Also, I founded an arts start-up five years ago that creates opportunities and a platform for independent artists. So, in short, I am very passionate about helping the struggling young musician get to the next level, and this is why I talk about providing advice on the other aspects of becoming a musical artist, if needed. All people progress at different paces but if the subject is interesting and there is no pressure or judgement and pleanty of encouragement, then there will be progress and that is our objective. Music is all around us. Movies, elevators, stores. You can hear music in the waves in the ocean and the breeze in the trees. There are many studies that relay various benefits of learning an instrument. I have met many good people that I am still friends with through playing that I would not have if it were not for playing music. Read More

In my teaching methods, I focus on the correct positioning of both hands and the body as a whole. Freedom of play is important to me, which will help the student to develop technically and artistically. Over many years of experience working with beginners, I have developed my own methodology that enables rapid growth in the play, and my students show very good results already in the first year. An example of this is my student, who entered Manhattan School with a big scholarship after her first year of study performing a concert by D. Read More

I believe in inspiring the upmost confidence in my students right from the beginning. Young musicians should never feel intimidated, and should want to share their talent with others. Music is unlike any other extra curricular activity in the lives of young ones. Through the arts, a teacher is able to impose the education of feeling. It is important that children grow up knowing that there are multiple solutions to a problem, and music is a great way to instill that idea. Read More

I prefer to start young beginners with the Suzuki method. I feel it's the best method for not only instilling the correct posture and tone production, but also a great method for instilling a passion for the instrument. Students learn songs by rote in a lesson, and then practice at home along with a recording in order to train the ear. Once students have a good foundation, I add in I Can Read Music and use it as a supplement to continued Suzuki practice to begin developing music reading skills. Read More

The approach, overall, is to drive toward the student's goal. When someone wants to learn how to play an instrument well enough to play in a band or orchestra, I usually consider two needs - playing music and interpreting written music. These are basic parts of education, literally easy to define by achieving pages in etude books. In addition, though, there is a third component to meeting the set goal: writing music - a sensibility that you can create. Read More
