Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I am a creative and enthusiastic violinist based in the Northwest Indiana region. I graduated with a degree in music with an emphasis in performance in 2018 from Butler University. During my undergraduate career, I was principal 2nd violinist with the Butler Symphony and performed two solo recitals. Additionally, I performed with the Butler Ballet and Opera Orchestras, as well as with local symphonies (Hendricks Symphony and Danville Symphony). Although I am not limited to one method book or another, I typically use Arban's for trumpet lessons - with other books and repertoire along with it. My background is Suzuki violin, followed by music literacy and transposition.
