I try my best to keep lessons fun, especially with the younger students. For example, Sometimes we play music games, sometimes we walk/dance to learn about rhythm, sometimes we sing. I also have small group practices each month to combine students at about the same level, they play togher, they perform for each other, make constructive suggestions and encourage each other. I was born and raised in New York City. All my life I have been passionate about the arts and music is certainly one of my greatest passions. I started studying classical violin at the age of 6 at the Third Street Music school in New York. (studied under the Suzuki method).
