I began learning violin when I was 10 years old through school as well as receiving private lessons. I played first violin in my school orchestra until I graduated in 2014. I also began learning guitar and ukulele when I was 12 through professional lessons as well. Since 2014, I have had experience teaching both groups and private sessions, teaching in-home/studio/online, and have worked with people of various ages and backgrounds. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Connecticut with two Bachelor of Music degrees in Viola Performance and Composition. In 2018, I graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with a Master of Music degree in Composition. During my time at both universities, I performed in many music ensembles ranging from duos to large symphony orchestras. In addition, I have played in ensembles that specialize in early music (Renaissance and Baroque), opera, and new contemporary works. Read More
