I also have a duel Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College in Violin Performance and Music Education. I don't have prior teaching experience, but in the 10 years that i took lessons, I can tell you how important it is to have a teacher that understands the needs and skill level of the student. And i quote from a teacher that i had when i was a kid, "It takes 5 years to sound bad on the violin".
