Depending on the age and level of the student, there are a number of options to pick from, which allows me to get just the right fit! Along with the method book, I recommend what's called a blank TAB book which is used to write down chords, exercises and songs. I emphasize the importance of ear training, becuase that is what allows us to know if we are playing correctly. For intermediate and advanced students, we work very heavily on warm ups, scales, etudes, and repertoire. I am a creative and focused violin instructor specializing in classical to contemporary orchestral music. I graduated from Drexel University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I have been playing the violin for almost 20 years, starting from my Kindergarten music lessons all the way to sitting as Concert Master for the Drexel University Symphony Orchestra.
