Bobby was raised in a small Illinois town. He was introduced to music at an early age by his multi-instrumentalist father, who would bring him to gigs throughout the region. I like to make learning an instrument an enjoyable experience and allow students to progress at their own pace.  I also introduce them to different styles of music such as classical, folk, Broadway musicals as well as popular songs.  In addition, I teach students new skills and techniques to enhance their playing abilities. I encourage my students to practice, ask questions about the music and how it should be played with respect to the technique and expression required to perform a piece of music effectively. I tend to look on the positive side of each performance and I teach through kindness humor and respect. Read More

My approach to teaching is to share my love for music with my students. I will allow students to go at their own pace, and set realistic goals and expectations. I also encourage creative expression in my students, and will often ask them to try different methods of playing a single phrase in order to increase the depth of their musicality. Read More

I am a fun and easy-going instructor and I love working with people. In 2015, I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performances. Viola and violin are the best instruments I can teach (up to advanced), with cello and bass at a beginner/intermediate level. Read More
