I'm a musician, a music educator, and music researcher. I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion for music with students of all ages. I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Furman University in Greenville, SC and received my Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University in Boston, MA. I maintained a large studio while also freelancing in the Dallas area. After moving back to New England to attend Boston University, I began working with the Boston Youth Symphony as a teaching assistant. I end up learning right along with them, and I love it! if you are starting from ground zero, I typically like to start with the Suzuki method books, and learning by ear. Learning good techniques and is of the utmost importance at this stage!
