I encourage regular practice, as students who feel they are progressing and doing well tend to enjoy their instrument more. I was given the opportunity to teach some young beginning string players and I found that I really enjoyed seeing them develop and took great pride in their progress. I then went to college as a string player and played in multiple orchestras and took part in recitals nearly weekly during my time there.
