My story in the music begins with the study of Venezuelan folk music. Later, as a violist, I was a founding member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra "Raimundo Pereira" (One of the Orchestras of "The Sistema") in Venezuela. I studied lyrical and popular song with Masters William Alvarado and Inés Feo La Cruz. I have two records production, the first, named Por el Medio Oriente, it is a musical project that fuses the sounds and rhythms prevalent in Middle Eastern music and culture and the second named Preludio y Coda, a romantic CD. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Connecticut with two Bachelor of Music degrees in Viola Performance and Composition. In 2018, I graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with a Master of Music degree in Composition. During my time at both universities, I performed in many music ensembles ranging from duos to large symphony orchestras. In addition, I have played in ensembles that specialize in early music (Renaissance and Baroque), opera, and new contemporary works. Read More

I taught at the Boston Conservatory extension program when it existed. I went to japan and saw Suzuki as part of my training for teaching the Suzuki method. I belong to ASTA and SAA , SMS and AFM I've had students playing in the suzuki festivals. Students I've taught are now having excellent careers as professional musicians. I love to coach my students in chamber music. Several of my students have played in some excellent youth orchestras I have been giving lessons for almost 4 decades. Read More
