My experience in teaching has been consistent and rewarding. I started giving viola lessons as a junior in high school. In college, I took pedagogy classes where I had the opportunity to teach students through the Boston Youth Symphony Intensive Community Program. In June 2022, I earned my Teacher Training certification through the Suzuki Association of the Americas, which makes me qualified to teach the Suzuki Method. My musical journey started in preschool. At four I began playing the violin, at eight - the sh'vi (Armenian fipple flute), and at eleven - the saxophone. Studying these instruments became the means of my musical expression, shaping me into the musician that I am today and reflecting my upbringing, deeply rooted in traditional classical training, my Armenian heritage, and American jazz.
