I normally use the Standard of Excellence method books for most of my students; however, I am open minded to adjusting to each individual student's musical needs, whether it be Jazz, Classical, or whatever style music the student is focusing on. In addition to the Suzuki Method, I like to use etude books, duet books, and sight-reading books for those who are learning how to read music. After earning my Masters Degree in Education, I enjoyed 10 years of teaching 7th to 12th grade students in public schools.
