It starts out very simple so students of all ages can learn and progress very quickly. Perhaps we're discussing articulations and you're having trouble understanding stylistically how to approach and execute staccato with legato over it. I began teaching lessons while still in high school through a mentorship program with music students in local middle schools. Being able to teach at such a young age not only encouraged personal growth on my instrument but inspired my love for teaching and sharing a joy of music. I continued teaching lessons to middle and high school students throughout my undergraduate program and added music theory and composition elements into my instrumental lessons in order to appeal to more learning styles and provide a comprehensive understanding to encourage mindfulness and success.
