After working out of the book for an apropriate amount of time, I introduce solo repertiore from both pop and classical genres. As advanced players, we will focus on refining skills with drill books as well as work on standards in solo repertoire. I began teaching about 7 years ago as a part time way of making a little bit of extra money while in school and began teaching at middle and high schools in preparation for marching band and festival band competitions 5 years ago.
