I'm a very passionate and invested artist that really enjoys watching his students grow and helping them achieve their goals. I just graduated from Temple University with my masters degree in Jazz Studies, but am versed in many styles of playing and composing. As a freelance trumpeter, I have played at venues all over the U.S. and multiple countries in Europe. After graduating college, I was the resident trumpet at the Barter Theater in Abingdon, Virginia, before completing three contracts as a show band musician on board Celebrity Cruise ships. I have toured Europe with my university's top jazz ensemble, as well as toured the United States with two different professional drum corps, Carolina Crown and Jersey Surf. I like to be flexible to the students needs and learning style. Ive used many method books often going off what the student is already working on for band or in school. If the student is more advanced I will assign method books such as the Arbans, Clarke, and Charlier books. I also like to incorporate music the student is interested in and wants to learn. I began teaching private lessons as a high school student. I was the section leader in marching band and would often work one-on-one with trumpet players in my section. I began teaching in-home lessons during my first four years of undergrad. After earning my music education degree, I began teaching privately at the Adam's Music Conservatory in Maple Shade, New Jersey.
