So I like to make sure that I'm always challenging them but never pushing them too hard, helping them get better at their own pace. At the end of each lesson I like to send students with a sheet having their required and suggested practice materials for the next lesson. As the student becomes more accomplished, I supplement with method books and solo literature from the repertoire of the individual instrument.
