Planning an individual practice schedule is imperative for their success but at the same time make it enjoyable so the student will want to practice. I started teaching lessons in college. I began teaching lessons 6 years ago, and have always taught in-home lessons. I believe that teaching in the home will help my students be more comfortable practicing at home. I prefer the one on one setting that teaching lessons gives you over the large ensemble setting. I believe it gives more opportunity to grow as a player.
