I'm adamant about learning exercises from the "Arbans Book". This book is essential the brass bible that teaches proper fundamental techniques while developing reading skills. We will extensively on flexibility and scales through out all stages of development as well as intonation on the instrument. My teaching experience began in college. I quickly realized that I most enjoyed helping people on an individual basis. In addition to performing in myriad musical idioms, I have made a career of private teaching, having conducted over 26,000 lessons since 2001. My performance experience weaves its way into many lessons, as I am able to share “real-life” experiences about the practicality of the material that we study. Hello! I have been professional musician and educator since 2015 in Central and Southeast Pennsylvania. In 2018, I graduated from Millersville University with a B.A. in Trombone performance. I then enlisted into the United States Marine Corps band as a trombone instrumentalist, where I served active duty for four years.
