Through that program I have been able to perform in sixteen different countries for presidents, vice presidents, kings, queens, and prime ministers. I began playing trumpet at a very young age, and have found it, and music in general, to be the most valuable means of communication available to us. I graduated from University of Maryland School of Music December 2014, and have played in a number of bands (both jazz and classical), taught private lessons, and worked as a festival clinician for local schools. I feel that private lessons provide an environment where both student and teacher may learn from each other, and where that knowledge is imparted in a friendly environment at a pace that is comfortable for both of us. In 2012 I started teaching students in their homes. I quickly learned the ins and outs of teaching and have never looked back. In the fall of 2013 I gained additional experience while teaching music to kids at Ideal Day Care center. At first I was unable to engage the students, but soon I was the star teacher at the day care center. Eichelberger was selected for the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Southeast Intercollegiate Honors Band in 2000 and 2002 being the first trombonist selected from the university in almost 10yrs. Mr. Eichelberger is also a former member of the U.S. Marines Basic Musician Enlistment Program where he studied at the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia. Mr. Eichelberger also holds a Bachelor of Music in Jaz Studies from Florida Memorial University (2011) and a Masters of Arts in Instrumental Conducting from Morgan State University (2020). Read More
