I am currently in the Doctoral program at University of Arizona. I received Artist Diploma at Texas Christian University studying under Dr. David Begnoche. Also, received my Masters degree from Cleveland State University studying with Shachar Israel, Assistant Principal Trombone of the Cleveland Orchestra, and hold Bachelor degrees from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and Kasetsart University, where my teachers were Shannon Pittaway and Teerapol Submool. Now fast-forward to March 2021, I was hired by Presidio ISD to teach middle school band. From then until May 2022, I got to teach middle school band along with choir and mariachi. I also occasionally helped at the local high school. What I have learned while teaching middle school, especially with beginners, is that playing along can be helpful initially. I currently teach part-time lessons out of my home studio in Copperas Cove, Texas. I focus on bringing out students talents and highlighting areas where they can improve, while bringing out their interest in growing as a musician. Though lessons are a key point in improving upon a students skills, consistent practice schedules at home are also an important step to growth in skill level. I will always recommend pushing students to enter competitions or perform in recitals, if they are available to them, but will never force a student into taking part in something out of reach or something uncomfortable. I've collected daily exercises and warm ups passed on to me from Principle Trombonists from various symphonies and orchestras, PhD's in Trombone Performance from The University of North Texas as well as professional trombonists from Broadway shows such as Wicked as well as The Count Basie Orchestra and Dizzy Gillespie's All-Star Big Band.
