Trombone Lessons in Bolton, MA

Instruments: Piano Trumpet Trombone

I began teaching in 2014, shortly after graduating high school. I quickly began to enjoy encouraging and mentoring aspiring musicians to keep up with their practices as well as the love for music. I have a wide variety of teaching experiences such as teaching private lessons in home/studios, as well as instructing entire orchestras and wind ensembles. I've also found that a combination of classical and fundamental practices, as well as contemporary music, can go a long way in solidifying comfort ability on the instrument. Read More

For children my teaching style is very reward based, I love stickers so always give them one once they've mastered their song for the week and such. Lots of encouragement and positive feedback and working through the difficult things in a positive manner. For adults I will teach based on you! If you are really looking for a fun hobby with the music we will be more laid back and relaxed with it and can bounce around and learn all sorts of different things! Read More

The students, parents, and I set goal based on each individual student's musical interest and needs. Every artist is on their own journey. I as the teacher is with the students, there to guide them and help them on their journey where I am learning just as much or more. Read More

I find the most important thing to teaching lessons is making sure the student is improving on a week to week basis, but is also having fun at the same time! After all, if what your doing isn't fun, why do it? The easiest way to have fun is to play and work on music that the student wants to play, It can't all be etudes and exercises can it? Read More
